Software Developer needed in the A. Clark lab

The A. Clark lab in the Department of Chemistry is looking for a computer
scientist to create new features within a graphical user interface built
using GTK in C++.
 
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of C++ and standard template libraries.
- Experience in building graphical user interface applications, especially gtkmm.
- Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Calculus and Linear Algebra

LUG IRC Channel Social Network Diagram

A bot is now monitoring the activity in #wsulug. Every time a user speaks, the bot will determine who the user is talking to, and draw a map of this. You can find the image here, updated live. The bot is a piespy bot, which can be found here. Hopefully we will find some patterns in our communication in the IRC channel. It's worth noting that piespy has been used to track social networking in Shakespeare. Have a look, here.
