The lug is in a great position to help all of us eecs students get the books we need for cheap. I need to buy the book for Testing 422. All of the used books are sold out and I'm sure that someone sold it back to the bookie for 30 to 40 bucks last semester. I would have gladly paid 40 to 50 bucks for it instead of the whopping 70 for a brand new book.
I'm not talking about anything as ambitious as the bookies buy back. I'm imagining a posting board for buyers and sellers of eecs books to get together and cut out the middle man. Of course you could use Amazon.com to do this but then there is the shipping costs and delivery time to complicate things.
Anyone agree with me? Or am I just suffering from temporarily insanity induced by the bookie prices?
